Oops

Oops missed my weigh in this weekend. Sometimes i find it hard with my shifts, most week i find other classes but this week it didn't work out. Was considering getting a personnel trainer but decided to get a plan made up for me at the gym. Only 6 weeks to my holidays so going to give it a big push! It's only Tuesday and been to the gym twice already. Feeling sore but just need to try keep it up. Not sure how weigh in will go this week as fell off the wagon at the weekend there, fingers crossed i can claw it back for Friday. I've limited myself to 18points thins week to give me a wee kick start hopefully. Got lunch and dinners sorted for rest of the week, I'm night shift at the weekend so that should keep me out of trouble!

week 1 bikini boday challenge weigh in!

Went to weigh in today and lost 1lb so that's a loss of 20lb so far. Not bad considering I done no exercise for nearly 2 weeks due to the cold however I can do better so head down, get to the gym for next weeks weigh in.

Week 1 - Bikini body challenge continued

Week 1 of the bikini body challenge hasn't went quite to plan. Had a really bad cold so been pretty floored with that so my days off this week have been spent trying to breath and catch up on my sleep, so not been able to go out running or do any exercise. Monday and Tuesday at work were very stressful and unfortunately found myself having some chocolates to keep me going as i missed my afternoon break. Apart from that i haven't done anything else bad, fingers crossed when i get weighed on sat all will be good. Bit nervous as i usually do exercise through out the week. Not going to my usual class so going to find one to go to on sat morning. Our team doesn't seem to be doing the best at the moment but guess won't know who has the lead until all results are in! Hope mt weigh in result will be a good one!

Week 1 - Bikini body challenge

Week one is under way for the bikini body challenge. I'm in team Daytona, i have set myself the target to loss 14lb in 10 weeks. However just realised it is 8 weeks till I'll be donning a bikini so its 14lb in 8 week, oh dear sound a bit adventurous. I think there are around 70 people in the challenge, we are all split into 3 teams, whatever team loses the most in the 10 weeks wins. There is weekly winner and sinner boards etc just for some fun! Everyone enters their weekly weigh in and it runs from there. Lets hope i don't let the team down in the first week, wouldn't want to be the first to have a gain! To be continued...........

i hate sundays!

Had a good eating weekend this week! The only thing that usually puts a spanner in the works are nights out, but this weekend I've got the cold so a quiet one it was. Due to having the cold I've not done any exercise though but hopefully my good eating and my full day of spring cleaning (wonder how many bonus points i earned?!) should keep me on track. A Sunday also means that, if I'm not working, i get all the recipe books and weight watcher magazines out and plan the recipes for the week ahead. I write a shopping list then head to Tescos. I must admit i hate the shopping part, don't mind looking up what to have, i also quite enjoy cooking all the things but hate going to the shops! I did try online shopping once but made a bit of a mess of it, ended up with about 200 carrots!! It was zero point carrot soup for lunch that week! oops! Now the shopping is in the fridge, the house is nice and clean, here is to a good week ahead! No reason why it shouldn't be! Well, hopefully work won't be to stressful as that's when i feel the need for a chocolate, they are a bit like pringles, once you pop you just cant stop. Before you know it you are 8 points down and still hungry! Wednesday and Thursday are my days off so out for a run on those two day. Can't make my meeting on Friday so will have to find another one on either Thurs or Sat. Fringers crossed for a good loss!

Welcome

Welcome to my first every blog. This blog will follow my fight against the fat! I joined Weight Weight Watchers on 4th of January 2009 as part of my new years resolution. I was feeling very fat and realised that I was the only one that could do something about it so off to weight watchers I trotted. The motivation behind my fight against the fat are; an amazing holiday I am going on in June and also being a bridesmaid for my cousin in September. So far to date I have lost 19.5lb. I've had my ups and downs, unfortunately when you seem to start a healthy eats plan (I don't use the word diet, it makes me put on weight!) lots of social events come out of the wood work. I'm not going to let the healthy eating plan get in my way of living, I am trying to incorporate it into my everyday life to make it more of a long term change of habit, therefore, in the hope that the weight does not sneak back on. Welcome along on my journey to a slimmer, healthier me!
